This exquisite umbrella was completely handmade by well-trained and skilled artists.  The paper top is made through a very extreme process, in which the bark is cooked to soften, cleaned, crushed, washed, and bleached, and then left to dry. Bamboo is hand-cut and pieced together. The craftsmanship is very tedious.
